Refried Bean Pizza
Had thought about black beans on pizza before.
Then, make yourself some refried black beans. I use this recipe from the Food Network. My only recommendation is that you might want to up the cumin and salt a bit - the first time I made it, I had about 1 1/2 cans of beans, and I forgot to take down the levels of cumin, and I have found I like it better with the extra flavor.

I will put the whole wheat pizza crust on my blog some time over the next few weeks, so watch for it. Whole wheat can be tasty too!

I would love the recipe for whole grain pizza crust. I am always trying new healthy things for my kids but I have not been able to find a lot of whole grain baked goods that are tasty.

Legumes are awesome and pizza is a terrific reason to eat healthy! I love pizza and being a food-geek, I insist on a whole wheat crust so only eat pizza at home. Black beans and feta cheese go together really nicely. Maybe I will post my whole grain pizza crust recipe on my blog later this week. www.WowYouAreReallyLucky.com
